If you have a gold / silver necklace or bracelet that is too short or too long, bring it to our physical store and we will see if we are able to either attach extension hoops on the spot ( for minor lengthening ) or if you will have to leave it with us for matching of links to elongate it ( only able to do so for certain designs ). We are also able to take your existing jewellery as trade-in for a new item instore that has a better suited length for your needs.
For gold necklace or bracelet shortening, the shortened portion can be traded-in to us to offset the alteration fee. Certain chain designs cannot be shortened. Please bring your jewellery to us for us to advise and quote accordingly.
Ring Size Alteration
Not all rings can be resized. Some rings are set with gems or diamonds and that may limit its capacity to be resized multiple times or at all. Spinning rings, puzzle rings, full abacus rings and full paved rings are a some of the rings that cannot be resized as there is simply no space on the band that allows the alteration to be done. We are also unable to alter sizes for hollow rings as they simply will not be able to withstand any heating that they have to go through in order for us to do the resizing.
Simple bands, rings with only top designs, and rings with a single gem/few gems are most likely able to be resized. Depending on the design of your ring and the number of ring sizes you need it to be altered, we will be able to advise on the estimated price and lead time we will need to alter it for you. As a guideline, a very basic ring size alteration will cost from $60 and above. We will need to cut the band, add or remove gold, solder the band, file the solder before we can finally plate and polish it such that you will not be able to tell that it has been altered.
Resizing of rings cannot be done on the spot and will take us about 3 - 5 working days. Please take note that if there is any engraving on the ring, the engraving might be less obvious after the resizing as we will need to polish and plate the ring as the last step of our ring size alteration service.
On-the-spot ring expansion is only doable for half to one size increment and only if your ring is thick enough and has no gemstone settings. We will advise accordingly upon seeing your ring.
Bangle Resizing
Most bangles cannot be resized. We will only be able to resize plain round solid bangles with no opening mechanism. Please contact us or visit our store with your bangle for us to advise and quote.
